I hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween weekend!
My big Halloween plans for the weekend got canceled at the last minute, so I ended up spending a more laid-back evening with a good friend. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at a local Indian restaurant and then went back to his place to watch some episodes from Season 4 of The Wire (the best season of the best TV show ever, in my opinion....and not for the reasons you're probably guessing....at least not entirely
!). Even though I have several hot scenes already filmed and waiting in the wings, I'm still working hard to find new models and schedule more video-shoots. I know things are going to get hectic once the holiday season begins, so I'm trying to film as much as possible while my schedule's still relatively flexible.
Oh, yeah, I'm also giving serious consideration to the possibility of moving into a new apartment before the year's over. I've actually lived in my current apartment since moving here **over seven years ago**, and I'm long overdue for a change! I'd really like to find a place with more space and privacy. My original goal was to see how well the website does, save up some money, and then move next Spring or Summer. But since the website's doing well so far (thanks to your support!) and I have enough new content stored up to allow me the freedom to go a few weeks without filming, it feels like the timing just might be right for a big transition like this.
Speaking of transitions....
As I mentioned last week, Shyne has filmed at least two scenes for another company.
Long story short, for a variety of reasons I simply didn't give Shyne the kind of consistent work he wanted and needed (his threesome with Suspense and Eureka was his first shoot for me in nearly a year), so he chose to work for a producer who could.
Shyne, along with Dragon, was one of the first real "stars" of BBA, and to this day he remains one of my most popular models. The Schoolboy and the Thug is still my personal favorite out of all my black-only DVD's so far, and my own early scenes with Shyne (Breakin' In A Young Thug and Blatino Bubble Bath) are two of the most erotic and memorable interracial scenes I've filmed so far. They were probably the first exposure many of you had to my movies, and they definitely helped BBA get noticed. I still think the chemistry between Shyne and me in those early scenes was more intense and palpable than anything either of us experienced later with other scene partners.
But I've been making movies for over two years now (October 26 was the second-year anniversary of my very first DVD release)! And time changes things in porn just as it does the other things in our lives.
Models come and go (no pun intended). They grow up, they mature, they change - sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse. Sometimes a little bit of both.
They move away, they go to school, they settle down in serious relationships.
Sometimes they decide doing porn just isn't for them. Sometimes they decide they want the greater exposure that comes with working for a bigger company.
Their looks change (and yes, fade) over time. Sometimes I will point out these changes in the scene summaries, but other times I will simply let you observe them for yourself.
I am by nature a very sentimental person. Change can be difficult and painful for anyone to accept. But being the Libra I am, I think I sometimes take it harder than others. I'm still figuring out how to accept and adapt to the changes described above without becoming calloused or indifferent toward the guys that work for me.
I don't have any hard feelings toward Shyne, and I wish him all the best as he pursues something different.
To be totally honest, watching Shyne's scenes for another producer is actually kind of a turn-on in a strange way. It was the same way watching Dragon's scenes for the Cocodorm. It's sort of like seeing an "ex" out with a new boyfriend or girlfriend. No, it's even more intense than that. It's like watching an "ex" being fucked by a new boyfriend or girlfriend, LOL!!! On the one hand, you feel helpless and jealous (even when you thought you were totally over them), but at the same time it's surreal and exciting, and you just can't help but keep watching!
Add to that the fact that both of Shyne's scenes for the other company are bareback. In the first scene, he's on top....
And in his second scene he's the one getting fucked....**RAW**....
I'll avoid going off on a tangent about my mixed feelings about filming bareback porn. But I do have to admit that it's hot to watch!

Personally, I was a little disappointed with both scenes. They're definitely not Shyne's best work and I'd only recommend them to the most dedicated Shyne fans out there. I'm not saying that because they're from another website, because I actually like a lot of Rock's other work.
But I guess you can watch both scenes and make up your own mind if you want....I debated about whether or not I should even link to them, but I figured I owed it to those of you who've been following Shyne since the beginning.

yeah, fucking raw "looks" like some hot shyt. Is it really worth it to put your life at risk? Yes, there are new meds and all that BS, but obviously you don't have any regards for your life or the safety of others. You can tell that Shyne would opt to something like this. I think it shows class that you update viewers on the models when they go to new porn sites and you provide links so they can keep track of them. I think it is also a plus that you are candid in your critique of other people's work.
I think that encourages viewers to keep coming (cuming) back to BBA because it is not just self-promotion -- with the blogs and references to erotic cartoonists and animators, and other sites it's a place to bookmark and keep track of.
