I just wanted to let everyone know that I've decided to temporarily de-activate my website.
Many of you have been following my work for over two years now, and even though I've never met any of you in person, I still feel like we're old friends and I truly wish I could share everything that's happened behind the scenes over this past week leading up to this difficult decision. But I hope you'll understand that for a variety of reasons, I can't go into any more detail right now other than to say this past week has without a doubt been the most difficult of my entire life - similar but far more intense than any of the other challenges I've blogged about in the past - and I desperately need to take a few days to do some serious soul-searching and determine the best future, if any, for BBA.
Thank you to all of BBA's true fans for the loyalty and encouragement and support you've shown me and all the models! Whether this is the end of the road or simply another roadblock remains to be seen, but either way, it's been one hell of a ride and without you none of it would have ever been possible!

Obviously whatever happened has shaken you and involves a model(s). People are driven by money. After they spend the money or someone sees them they try to go back into their excuses and blame namely you for trickery or some other outright lie. The guys you deal with some but most don't have integrity. They can legitimize that they did with the money not the fact that they willingly did it nor the fact that they enjoyed it. Some will see you as the problem but the reality is they are the problem. So, threats and underhandedness are bound to come your way as you try based on your nature establish some repore/ friendship. Unfortunately, what happened was bound to happen not because of anything that you did but for the mere fact homophobia runs rampant in the black and latino communities. Some of the guys you shot can't deal with what was done in the dark and the fact they enjoyed it so they are the ones who will lash out at you in their self hatred however misguided. You have a hard decision to make but I recommend your treating it more like business and if you're going to shoot...rent out an office. Never shoot again in your home as that's too personal and too trackable. The other sites are using the same type guys but they shoot outside their home. If you continue, I recommend you start that policy...it's business..you can't mix the 2.

I seriously doubt he was threatened by a model. If that was the case, he could have easily just removed that model(s) video(s). No clue what this is all could be about. I know I've enjoyed the str8 boys exposed on this site.

For obvious selfish reasons I really don't want to see you leave or shut down your site. But from what I've learned of you over the past 2 years is that you don't give up easily and you have always been honest and worked hard when it came to making your fans happy.
That said I'm sure there is a very valid and personal reason for this reaction and all I can think of to say is you have to put yourself and your happiness and safety first. If for some reason you are no longer enjoying your work then I completely understand that even the best things in life can be disappointing at times. If there is some legal reason then I wish you the best and hope that true character will win out and you will prevail.
Whatever the reason I will hope that you will be able to overcome this distress and continue your work. If not then I want to at least say thank you for all the fun and enjoyment that your site has brought to me and I'm sure many, many others. Your honest and unique approach has always been the best out there.
I hope you can return soon to a happy place in your life no matter what. You deserve as much from life as you gave your fans. I wish you well and peace and good things always.

I paid for the site on Saturday and you pulled it down on Sunday.. Will I be charged... What exactly is going on, This was going to be one of my favorite sites. How about telling me how to take it over if it come to that.

MONEY. You throw up money in a thugs face, then thats all they see for the time being. They don't think about the consequences.. the aftershock... the backlash. It is the same reason why thugs rob banks. The possible benefits outweigh the likely risk of getting caught. Like I said previously, I don't feel as if a model threatened anyone. Think about it. The model would simply threaten to do such and such IF their video(s) weren't removed. The solvent would be to simply remove their video(s). So I on't believe that a threat from a model was/is the issue.
This site has been a big hit.. especially to me. As I can remember about 5 years ago how we discussed our same fantasies about going DEEP into the hood and recording hood boys in a house. You've done an excellent job at executing the fantasy which is nothing short of amazing.

No buddy-buddy shit, no calls 2 night, no movie dates or dining with them. WRONG thing to do! Change the way you do things and bring back your site, we love it and it's great, your work is great!! I wouldn't be mad if you gave up cause honestly if it were me I would have had to put my foot in somebody ass and not in a sexual way either!! I am a black male and I like your site. I especially like the fact that these guys are amateurs. You seem to know how to pick your men and their face shots when giving head are great. well i found about the site this past weekend..alot of buzz was goin on..im pretty sure between friday and sunday u got so many hits on ur site....i am a woman but i still support u because u are honest the guys shouldnt have put theyselves in that predicament oh well life goes on....

I found your site quite by accident and I am sorry to see you go. This will mark the first time I've commented since joining the site last year. I LOVE it and will miss y'all. Good thing I took your advice and saved my favorite scenes to the HD.

As I am writing this blog entry I am still gagging at the decision by mike to D-activate this site.....
Like Men... rarely do you find QUALITY.. but often find QUANTITY... this site happens to be one of QUALITY.....
Mike it is the opinion of myself and the other loyal fans that you have acquired on this site, that we respectfully ask of you not to punish us like this.... If you choose to d-activate your site based on idol threats made by one of the previous models, then we respectfully ask that you remove his scene from bba and continue doing what you do best...
You are a very strong and hard worker, and I cant see you allowing anyone to have you give up on something that you worked so hard to build and maintain..

I can't tell you how sorry I am for you. Your website is one of the best one's out there. Your honest and genuine approach is unique and stands above all the rest. I can only speculate about what the problem is, but by the tone of your email, I can only surmise that your safety is at stake. The one bit of advice that I can offer you is to stand strong no matter how difficult it is. Otherwise 'they' win and more problems will result. As much as I would hate to see you shut down the site, I will respect your decision to do so. I am not standing in your shoes and don't know the whole story, but it would be a shame if you did. I have enjoyed your site for 2 years now and it is #1 on my favorites list. I'm going to leave you with one of my favorite quotes... "The only way to get to the other side...is through". I want to wish you 'all the best' in whatever you decide to do.

Wow Michael. I had a suspicion that something bad had happened. I really hope that you are safe.
I would like to co-sign on everything Brian J said in his comment far more articulately than I could have.
To sum up though. While I hope you do keep your site up, your own personal sanity and security should come first. Should you decide to indeed continue with this site, this roadblock can simply be a lesson learned, and perhaps may instill you to make certain safeguards, whether in terms of your actual home or your legal protection.

Most of us are assuming that threats were made against you leading you to this to decision. If this is the case, all of us wish for your safety, and offer encouragement during your decision making process... Bull. These are grown men, agreeing to appear on a porn site for cash. They know what they're getting into. If you are agreeing to be filmed for a website in sexual situations, you know that there is a strong likelihood of this being seen. Not to mention, as I understand it, all of the men on this site respond TO him. He does got go out and lure anyone to his site, waiting with a white van outside of housing projects. These men made a choice and part of being an adult is about sticking by your choices and accepting what follows as a result of them.
If they don't want to be exposed, they don't have to appear on this site. Even in this economy, McDonalds is hiring. There's other ways to make money that won't compromise their anonymity and are not pornographic.
No one has "exploited and degraded" anyone. They have "exploited and degraded" themselves, and are now resulting to intimidation, thuggery and other childish tactics to get what they want. These "men" need to grow up and take some responsibility.
There's a reason why porn companies require disclaimers signed. They can kick and scream all they want, but the law would never side with models' temper tantrums and threats, because they are in the wrong and straight up illegal.
The porn site owner is legally protected. I just hope that personal safety is not at the risk of some immature closet queen.

I've read all the comments, and decided that I'm not as nearly as eloquent as some of your fans to express my regret to see you go (maybe), so I thought I should just stay silent and see how things go, but I really have to notice how perfect it is that Baadboi commented just after daniel had.
Firstly,if I understood correctly, every single model contacted you with an idea of doing a porno. You hadn't invited them to a board game convention and then pointed a shotgun into their faces, threatening to kill them if they don't take their clothes off.
Secondly, I totally understand when some guy says "Porn is wrong". But the thing is, people that honestly mean that DO NOT regularly visit porn sites. Thirdly, I don't get it why everyone seem to think your work is degrading. The main reason I like what you do is because of the subtlety of it. We're talking about evolved soft-core here, basically. Besides, you go down on these guys (far) more often than they do on you.

Lastly, i want to say that I'm an 18 y. o. living in a country where people throw stones at you if they even hear you're of a different sexual orientation than them, and the darkest skin we have here is one of solarium-visiting bimbos. Don't let this setback stop the website and ruin all your and the models hard work!
While I understand and sympathise with your situation, I do feel like you should try to continue.
Don't make any hasty decisions. Take some time to reflect and find a way to move forward, learning from any mistakes.
There are perhaps things you can change slightly to solve the problems you face, eg masks, face-blurring for non-member areas, more "out" models, straight guys could do just solo scenes, etc.
Don't let the bigots win, and don't be a martyr to the homophobia.
You do such a great job and it's great that you care so much about your models, but they are adults and you cannot be responsible for them.
