The Next Chapter Begins....
I'm excited to announce that BBA's big move is finally over, and BlackBoyAddictionz.com is now officially its own independent site!
If you're still seeing the old version of the site with links to Badpuppy, don't worry! It can take between 24 to 48 hours for a domain/URL to switch over completely to a new server. But based on the fact that new subscriptions are already starting to be processed, I know that at least some of you are able to see the new site!
The basic look, feel, and content of the site hasn't changed, although there's an updated tour area and some other changes scattered throughout the site that those of you with a keen eye for detail might notice
.
The biggest change for you as a viewer/potential member, however, is that all new and recurring BBA memberships are now managed by CCBill (my new payment processor), and memberships to the Badpuppy network no longer offer access to BBA's content.
I apologize for everything taking a couple weeks longer than anticipated. I was obviously a little too optimistic and unrealistic when I announced that original date. I'm going to be hitting myself over the head about that for awhile, LOL!
Honestly, this whole process has been one of the most challenging and stressful things I've had to deal with since I began making porn. The closest thing I can compare it to is the experience of actually physically moving from one city to another. Anyone who's been through that experience knows there's a seemingly endless list of things that have to be done before you get to kick back and throw that "housewarming" party for family and friends. Everything from the major challenges like finding a place to live and moving one's stuff, to all of the tedious, time-consuming tasks like unpacking boxes, turning on utilities, scheduling to have your cable, phone and Internet connected, finding a new doctor/bank/grocery-store, etc. And of course there will always be those unforeseen obstacles and delays that can drag out the process. A "virtual move" like this one is pretty much the same thing!
To those of you who've remained patient and supportive throughout this transition, THANK YOU so much for your words of encouragement! I know that none of this would even be possible without the continued interest and support of BBA's viewers and fans!
To those of you who've been a little bit more.....impatient and cranky over the past couple weeks, LOL.....well, I can certainly understand your frustration, and I probably would have felt the same way if I were in your shoes! It's no fun waiting for anything, least of all porn! All I can say is that I will work hard and do everything I possibly can to make it up to you in the weeks and months ahead, and hopefully earn back your trust, good-will, and support.
As stressful and time-consuming as this whole process has been, I'm 100% confident that it's the right direction for BBA's future, and that all the stress and hard work will be worth it in the long-run! So whether you've been following BBA from the very beginning, or just recently stumbled upon the site, I hope you will join me for this next chapter in the BBA story!

um. am i the only one who thinks that the subscription prices are kinda steep?!
also, more to the point, I'm REALLY worried about the safety of the Jamaican models. solo scenes are one thing, but i didn't think you'd "make" them do stuff with other guys. i don't care how hot the scenes are, i simply can't be a part of something that puts people's lives at such huge risk. and i certainly don't want to bankroll it with my subscription fee.
i love the authenticity of your work and i really like the guys. but some of the corruption stuff that u like so much raises my eyebrow (not in a good way), and this latest step is just one too far.

While trying to determine a fair price for a BBA membership, I reviewed at least 20 other gay pay-sites offering similar content or within the same genre. Only two of them were cheaper than what I'm offering, a couple of them were exactly the same, and the majority cost a lot more. I think what I'm offering is very reasonable when you take into account the unique content, exclusive models, and average length of BBA's scenes (I've done the math and it's 64 minutes!).
I appreciate your concern for the Jamaican models, and I have no choice but to accept and respect your decision. I'd like to point out, however, that ALL porn involves some level of risk. Hell, just being "out" as gay or bisexual can put one at risk!
I can't speak to the cultural climate in the UK, but here in the US there's still a lot of ignorance and hostility toward homosexuality, and ANYONE performing in gay porn - regardless of race or sexual orientation - faces the risk of exposure, ridicule, harassment, and even violence from homophobic family members, friends, or total strangers. That's a sad reality, to be sure, but I don't think my own fear or the ignorance of others should stop me from watching or making gay porn any more than it should stop me from loving who I want to love or fucking who I want to fuck!
As far as the Jamaican models are concerned, my Jamaican friend tells me that like most countries and cultures, Jamaica has made a lot of progress over the past decade or so, and that while ignorant, homophobic assholes still exist there (just like anywhere), the country's notorious reputation (in his opinion) is unfair and exaggerated. Regardless of how true that might or might not be, the guys that he films are CONSENTING ADULTS who are fully aware of what they're choosing to do. I've also taken the extra step of blurring their faces in the free area of my site to minimize their exposure.
Danny, you know that I value your opinion as a viewer and I've always enjoyed reading and responding to your feedback here on the blog. But I've also always been a little bit baffled by your vocal dislike for the vast majority of BBA's content and themes. After a certain point, it's kind of like walking into a seafood restaurant and complaining that the place smells like fish

Lets be serious, a thirty day subscription @ a rate of 19.95 is not steep. The two models in question, choose to appear in a sex scene of their own volition. They were not kidnapped from the streets of Montego Bay and forced to do a scene. Its just porn folks......

no, I've always been very complimentary about scenes involving no coercion or discomfort.
as for the cultural climate in America, i've read about some of your troubles on this blog, and your concerns for your models, and i was glad to hear that you considered their welfare. I've seen that u almost gave up porn because of it. so what "baffles" me is that you've actively SOUGHT out a country with potentially an even more hostile climate towards your models. i question that you obviously get a kick out of putting your models in danger. and ethically and morally that doesn't sit well with me.
if something happens to the boys in Jamaica that you've pushed into doing things they aren't particularly keen on doing then you'll have noone to blame but yourself.

First off, I didn't seek out the photographer in Jamaica for some kind of sadistic thrill as you seem to imply. He contacted me, and I jumped at the opportunity as a way to supplement my own content and offer greater consistency to my members. He was making gay porn with Jamaican guys long before he ever contacted me.
Secondly, if I "got a kick" out of putting people in danger, I wouldn't be taking the extra measure of hiding the Jamaican models' faces, something that minimizes their exposure but also drastically hurts sales.
Your most outrageous and offensive statement, however, is that I'm the one to blame if something happens to one of the models. That's pretty fucked up that you'd blame ME before you'd blame the actual homophobic bigots who might do the models harm?!? If I was the owner of a gay nightclub, and one of my customers was gay-bashed while leaving my club, would you blame me for running the gay club and promoting the "gay lifestyle"? Hell no! You'd blame the homophobic thugs who actually committed the crime.
Not sure if you've followed the whole story about the young "straight" guy on MTV's "Real World" whose secret past doing "gay for pay" porn for a popular American website was recently exposed on national television. If one of his homophobic house-mates on the show attacked him after learning his secret, I guess according to your logic we should blame the gay porn site for hiring the guy in the first place?
You seem to have ignored the main point in my response to your comment. As long as there are religious fundamentalists and bigots and homophobes, gay porn will always be a risky endeavor - REGARDLESS of whether it's straight guys being persuaded to try gay things, or openly gay boyfriends making sweet passionate love.
Something terrible could happen to me, or any of BBA's models, or ANY gay porn producers or models for that matter, any time! That's a risk we all take by CHOOSING to work in this industry. If you're going to blame porn producers for every potentially negative consequence stemming from the hatred and ignorance of OTHERS, then you should at least be consistent and stop watching porn altogether.

no, calm down, i didn't mean it like that at all. i said you'd only have yourself to blame. that's not the same as saying it'd be your fault. i just meant that if u felt bad about it if it happened, and I'm sure u would cos you're a decent guy, then you'd only have yourself to blame for getting involved. obviously the attack or woteva wouldn't be your fault. but u might expose people.
anyway, u and the models involved can do woteva u like. I'm encouraged that it was happening already (the Jamaican producer making porn). but i'm just choosing not to get involved in it.
and there is a difference between guys HAPPY to take that risk, and those who will probably regret it afterwards but are tempted by the money they may really need.
but hey it's just my opinion. doesn't mean squat. just giving my reasons for not joining your new site that's all.
also, when i was questioning the price, it was just a case of me not knowing the exchange rate into pounds. lol. moot point now i suppose.

i watched it. it wasn't so bad. both guys were up for it. no coercion involved. i guess i got the wrong impression from the scene summary.
on a different point tho, i don't really think the jamaican scenes are great. the video quality is not as good and it doesn't feel like a bba scene. plus i don't understand a word lol. but both guys seemed happy to do it so i take back most of my original comments.

Thanks for giving the scene a chance, and for letting me know that it wasn't as bad as you'd assumed! I had a feeling that if you actually gave it a chance, you'd see that it wasn't as horrible as you'd built it up in your mind. As you saw, it actually had a kind of funny, light, flirtatious feel overall. I thought the popsicle part was especially erotic!
Sometimes I do get carried away in my scene descriptions, exaggerating certain themes or wording things a little too strongly. Thanks to your feedback, I actually went back and revised a couple parts of the scene description to tone things down a little bit.
Personally, I like the whole foreign, exotic vibe of these Jamaican scenes. It's a nice change of pace from my own vids, a breath of fresh tropical air. You can almost imagine the sunshine and beach right outside
Anyhow, thanks for sharing your revised thoughts with me after watching the scene.
