Farewell To The BBA Futon (& Other Transitions)
2011 has turned out to be a year of big changes for BBA.
As most of you already know, BBA became an independent site this past summer. It was a huge transition that required a lot of time and tedious hard work, but I knew deep down that all the stress and sleepless nights would be worth it in the long run, and so far that seems to be true. I would honestly have to say it was the best decision I've made since starting BBA almost four years ago!
Another recent change is that I finally took the big step of moving out of my apartment and into a new place! That apartment saw me through several major chapters of my life, including the creation of BBA, so it wasn't easy saying goodbye. But I'm relieved and excited to be moving on to this new chapter, which is really just a stepping-stone to my long-term goal of moving to a bigger and more progressive city better suited to producing gay porn!
Many of you will probably be saddened to hear that I actually *threw out* the famous BBA futon in the dumpster behind my building. There were *a lot* of memories on that thing, LOL!!! And God only knows how much black-boy DNA
!
I joked around about trying to auction it off to some hardcore BBA fan who might want to own the same futon on which Beno, Suspense, Kenny, Dragon, Tori, and so many others have sucked and fucked
!
I also thought about filming some kind of big farewell orgy on the futon before throwing it away, or even a series of scenes with some of the oldest and most popular models coming back to reminisce and then either fucking or jacking off on it one last time. My friends couldn't stop laughing when I told them that idea. I knew it was kind of corny, but I also thought it could have been a fun way to let BBA's long-time fans join me in the process of saying goodbye. Unfortunately, the real-life stress and deadline for moving won out in the end and I just didn't have enough time to do it.
Needless to say, things have been a little crazy around here, dealing with the stress of moving while also trying to film new content and keep the site running smoothly! I just wrapped up a long and exhausting weekend of *four* video-shoots in just two days, which I'm pretty sure is a new record for me. It's also the first time in a very long time that I've had four video-shoots in a row go even better than I'd hoped or expected - including a scene that just might go down as one of the most shocking and controversial "gay for pay" scenes I've ever filmed!
After talking about doing it for the past couple years, I also finally began training one of the models to help out behind the camera for some of the scenes in which I participate. I haven't had a chance to review all of the raw footage yet, so I'm still not sure how well he did, but I think the experience went well overall and I really enjoyed being able to relax and perform in a scene without constantly stressing out about setting up every shot and angle using the tripod.
As you can tell, a lot has been going on behind the scenes lately! I hope you've been enjoying BBA's fall season so far. I'll be updating the site with a new scene this weekend - so stay tuned for more hot things to come!
