For those of you competing via e-mail, if you have not received your questions, check your spam folders first to make sure the e-mail hasn’t gone there and if it hasn’t, contact us ASAP.

Battle Bowl will officially kick off on Monday, November 28th! Contestants will receive their questions the same way they entered the contest (via e-mail or through Tumblr) and have 24-hours to send in their answers. In each round, you will square off against only one other competitor. The winners of their respective matches will advance to the next round. In the case of a tie, there will be a tie-breaker question. This will go on until there is only one competitor left.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I will not be updating the website this week.
Like many of you this past week, I have been reeling with shock, anger, disgust, and despair in response to one of the most historic and truly terrifying political events of my lifetime. With the help of family and friends, and even a few long-time BBA fans, I have been struggling to comprehend what the FUCK just happened, and what exactly it means for my friends, my family, my models, my future, BBA’s future, and most importantly, this country’s future.
Needless to say, the shocking events of this past week have been consuming all of the time, attention, and energy that would normally be devoted to bringing you a hot and lengthy new scene like I usually do every Thursday.
I’m truly sorry that I’m unable to provide the kind of comfort and escape that so many of us are desperately needing right now.
The regular schedule will be resuming next week. In the meantime, please enjoy the many hot and action-packed scenes from the past couple months, and/or any of the other *over 300* unique and lengthy scenes currently available to BBA’s monthly subscribers. Thanks for understanding!

We are excited to announce the second BBA Tumblr contest entitled BBA Battle Bowl!
The BBA Battle Bowl will be a single elimination TRIVIA tournament that will run over the course of several weeks and will test the competitors’ knowledge of BBA and BBA’s models. The final competitor will be declared the ULTIMATE BBA fan and receive the grand prize of $1,000 and a personalized private video from an (available) BBA model of their choosing!!!
To enter the tournament you will need to submit an application, preferably through our Tumblr “Ask” feature, but we will accept e-mail applications sent to BBAOfficialTumblr@gmail.com as well. Applications should include a creative team name, how long you have been a BBA fan, why you love BBA, your favorite model and scene, and most importantly, why you think you are the ultimate BBA expert. Montez and I will review the applications and select the best ones.
If you aren’t currently a BBA member, don’t fret! You too can sign up to the site to brush up on your BBA knowledge or do some research to prepare for the contest.

Several of you have been asking me lately who ended up winning the bonus cash prize between Bandit and Zadian for their participation in what turned out to be one of BBA’s most unique, entertaining, and polarizing scenes of the year (“How Gay Will They Go?”). Whether you loved it or loathed it, this “reality porn” return to BBA’s roots certainly inspired a passionate and vocal response!
Based on the votes of BBA’s members for who they thought was the most open-minded, cooperative, and overall deserving of the bonus cash reward, Bandit won the competition in a landslide with 71% of the votes compared to 29% of the votes for Zadian, and Bandit was awarded the bonus cash prize.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to leave a comment and let us know who you thought most deserved the bonus cash prize! It was definitely a fun and entertaining experiment, and one we just might try again in the near future 😉 ….

I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend and is enjoying the summer!
It’s definitely been an exciting and eventful 2016 so far….
We’ve introduced hot new straight boys like Julien, Bandit, and Zadian, and enjoyed watching their slow but steady progression into “gay for pay” porn….
We’ve watched one of BBA’s most attractive and popular straight models finally GIVE UP HIS ASS and evolve into one of the most impressive versatile performers on the BBA roster, most memorably in his scenes with Isaiah and Saint, easily two of the best scenes so far this year….
It’s kind of crazy to think that the year’s only halfway over, and BBA’s summer season has only barely begun!
I know this will come as a disappointment to those of you who look forward to seeing what’s new from BBA every Thursday, and while I’ve been working hard to maintain that weekly schedule throughout most of the year, I do sometimes have to take these occasional breaks for things like major holidays and family commitments. My hope and goal is that the quantity AND quality of the content delivered the rest of the year round more than makes up for these understandably disappointing but thankfully RARE breaks in the regular schedule.
Weekly updates will be resuming in just a little over a week with what I hope will be a pleasant surprise for many of you, so stay tuned 😉 !

Just got back from this year’s Phoenix Forum, an annual adult industry trade show. Had an AMAZING time and came away from the experience feeling more educated, rejuvenated, and motivated than ever before to make BBA the best black gay website it can possibly be!
Hosted at a beautiful resort in sunny Tempe, Arizona (right outside of Phoenix), it was pretty much your usual business convention during the day, with lots of meetings, networking, and seminars led by panels of experts from some of the most successful brands in the business on topics ranging from Virtual Reality as the potential future of porn, to tips on adapting and succeeding in a rapidly changing market, to the various legal and political challenges facing the porn industry today.
As you might expect, things got a little wilder at night with music, dancing, strippers, poker, and various parties catering to both the gay and straight crowds. On Friday night, they even had a live concert featuring the Wu-Tang Clan’s Method Man and Mix Master Mike of Beastie Boys fame.
This year’s show overlapped with Isaiah‘s Spring Break, and since I was already planning to do some filming with him earlier in the week, I invited him to join me and represent the BBA models.
It wasn’t exactly the most racially diverse crowd, so a 6’3″ tall black college basketball player with Isaiah’s physique and striking good looks turned plenty of heads – and hopefully had many pulling up the site on their phones to check out his scenes 😉 !
This was no doubt the largest crowd of gay men he’s ever been around at one time, and I think he was a bit overwhelmed by everything at first, but ended up coming out of his shell and having a fun time with everyone. I’m sure the free lap-dances from the female strippers didn’t hurt either, LOL! (Check out the BBA Tumblr for some gifs from one of his many lap-dances). He has told me several times that it was his best Spring Break ever, and an unforgettable adventure for him for sure!
One unexpected highlight is that I finally got to meet and hang out with the creator and owner of FlavaWorks in person for the very first time, as well as his new exclusive model Trey Donovan who I personally think is one of the hottest and most exciting new faces in black gay porn today. And believe it or not, he’s even sexier in person! (Reminded me A LOT of Blake Bishop).
