BBA Returns for Hotter Than July Detroit Pride!

Like the gif states, we’re ready to give it another try!

We are excited to announce that Bandit, Blake Bishop, Jay C, Manny Killa and Stylez will be the models appearing at this year’s Hotter Than July Detroit Pride.

If you live in Detroit or the surrounding area, don’t miss your chance to meet some of BBA’s most popular models LIVE and in person at the Palmer Park Picnic on Saturday, July 28. We’ll be giving away free BBA t-shirts and other fun souvenirs, and you’ll have a chance to take pictures, get autographs, etc. Montez and I will be there as well. Last year was a blast, let’s see if we can top it!

Michael’s Choice

If you’ve been following us on social media over the past week (Twitter: @BBAddictionz, Instagram: @OfficialBlackBoyAddictionz, Tumblr: @BlackBoyAddictionz), then you already know we’ve been out of town filming for over a week with some of your favorite BBA models, as well as some exciting new faces we can’t wait for you to meet.

Our original plan was to have the first of these scenes edited and ready to share with you by now. (We’ve posted a few teaser pics to “wet” your appetite lol).

But we were faced with a difficult and unexpected decision when we met a VERY sexy new straight boy near the end of our scheduled visit: Extend our stay by a couple extra days for some spontaneous additional filming, even if that meant postponing the release of our next scene, or return home as planned to edit one of the scenes we’d already filmed and just gamble that the new boy would still be available and interested the next time that we were in town?

Long story short, we decided to “strike while the iron’s hot,” even though we knew that would mean releasing our next scene a few days later than planned.

On the bright side, we’re FINALLY back home from an insanely busy and exhausting but also fun and productive week of filming, and will be working around the clock to get the first of these hot new scenes ready to share with you as soon as we can!

Down….But Not Out!

Those of you who share my love for college basketball, and even some of you who don’t, will no doubt have heard by now about last night’s historic upset.

For those of you who don’t follow March Madness, it was the very first time in the history of the NCAA college basketball tournament that a #16 seed (University of Maryland Baltimore County) beat a #1 seed (Virginia). In other words, a school most people had never even heard of defeated and humiliated what was supposed to be the best team in the country (and busted my personal bracket in the process, LOL).

Reacting to the historic and devastating loss with what I thought was impressive humility and class, Virginia’s coach Tony Bennett had the following to say:

I told our guys, we had a historic season. A historic season in terms of most wins in the ACC. A week ago we’re cutting down the nets and the confetti is falling. And then we make history by being the first one-seed to lose. I’m sure a lot of people will be happy about that. And it stings. I told the guys, this is life. It can’t define you. You enjoyed the good times and you gotta be able to take the bad times. When you step into the arena, the consequences can be historic losses, tough losses, great wins, and you have to deal with it. That’s the job.

Sports are often a good metaphor for life, and I couldn’t help but relate Coach Bennett’s wise words to BBA’s own unexpected struggles these past couple months.

Important Announcement: Montez Joins BBA As Full-Time Manager & Marketing Director

As the new year gets underway, I just wanted to take a moment to share some exciting news and major changes taking place behind the scenes.

By now, most of you have at least heard of Montez, and even “met” him through his entertaining cameos in the Detroit After Dark series and Halloween Party. A long-time BBA fan going all the way back to the early Blue Futon days of Jay and Cortez, Montez first began corresponding with me by email back in the summer of 2014 about a shared social media crush. This led to more serious conversations about BBA’s lack of social media (other than this blog), and Montez generously volunteering to help us change that.

Taking on the role of BBA’s Marketing Director, Montez launched the BBA Tumblr and built it from scratch into a popular and entertaining resource for BBA-related news, previews, gifs, contests, and feedback for a large and ever-growing number of followers.

More recently, he started BBA’s Instagram and Twitter accounts, and organized our first public appearance at Detroit’s Hotter Than July Pride last summer. He has also played a pivotal role in bringing fan favorites like Blake Bishop, Shazeer, Rico Pruitt, and Manny Killa to the site.

With his skills and years of experience in both marketing and business management, Montez has not only proven himself to be an invaluable asset to the BBA team, but he has also become a close and trusted personal friend.

In an industry with a reputation for shady dealings and shameless back-stabbing, the kind of mutual loyalty, professionalism, and TRUST I’ve found with Montez is a truly rare and treasured thing. And when Montez recently came to a crossroads in his own career, it presented the perfect opportunity for me to finally offer him a position as BBA’s very first full-time salaried staff. (more…)

Website Update: New York Nights – Monster Smash

In the nearly TEN YEARS since BBA first began, we’ve never done a Halloween shoot. So when we recently visited New York City with a few of our favorite BBA boys, it felt like the perfect time to give it a try!

Join us for BBA’s first-ever Halloween Party as the guys show up in costume and play some fun drinking games….

An unscripted and hilarious game of “Never Have I Ever” turns into a more intense and adventurous game of “Truth Or Dare,” which eventually leads to a spontaneous and spooky-hot THREESOME….

Website Update: New York Nights – Stylez Surrenders

We recently spent a week in New York City celebrating Montez and Michael‘s birthdays with a few of our favorite BBA boys.

This special trip reunited Blake Bishop with Stylez for the first time since our summer visit to Detroit, and provided the perfect opportunity for them to finally finish what they started in the Christmas orgy almost one year ago.

It’s a much-requested “reunion” between two of our hottest and sexiest stars in nearly a FULL HOUR of cherry-popping action that includes lots of sloppy-wet dick-sucking, ass-eating, and RAW “take-down” fucking….

Website Update: Detroit After Dark – Episode Three

We’re concluding our recent Detroit series with a much-anticipated and long overdue pairing between two of BBA’s most popular and well-endowed “tops.”

For almost a year, Blake Bishop and Bandit have been locked in an epic back-and-forth battle for the ranking of Third Most Popular model on the site (right behind Apollo and Isaiah). They were supposed to have met and worked together on at least THREE different occasions already, but every time it just hasn’t worked out.

Both guys have been eager to prove to each other as well as their fans why they deserve that #3 spot. And our recent trip to Detroit for Hotter Than July Pride provided the perfect opportunity for these competing fan favorites to FINALLY meet in person and settle the score once and for all.

By day, the guys were able to meet and mingle with their amazing fans, take pics with them, sign BBA t-shirts and posters, etc. But Detroit after dark is when things REALLY started to get interesting. And luckily we had the camera with us so you wouldn’t miss out on a thing 😉 !

Detroit Pride to Kick Off BBA Tour July 27-30!

As most of you have probably heard by now, our BBA Tour got off to a rocky start a few weeks ago (you can read more about what happened on our new BBA Twitter).

As disappointing and discouraging as that was, we are NOT giving up on the idea of a BBA Tour just yet, and we are excited to announce that Black Boy Addictionz is a special sponsor for this year’s Detroit Hotter Than July Gay Pride!

Detroit Pride runs from July 25th-30th but the boys of BBA will be there beginning on the 27th.
