Down….But Not Out!

Those of you who share my love for college basketball, and even some of you who don’t, will no doubt have heard by now about last night’s historic upset.

For those of you who don’t follow March Madness, it was the very first time in the history of the NCAA college basketball tournament that a #16 seed (University of Maryland Baltimore County) beat a #1 seed (Virginia).  In other words, a school most people had never even heard of defeated and humiliated what was supposed to be the best team in the country (and busted my personal bracket in the process, LOL).

Reacting to the historic and devastating loss with what I thought was impressive humility and class, Virginia’s coach Tony Bennett had the following to say:

I told our guys, we had a historic season. A historic season in terms of most wins in the ACC. A week ago we’re cutting down the nets and the confetti is falling. And then we make history by being the first one-seed to lose. I’m sure a lot of people will be happy about that. And it stings. I told the guys, this is life. It can’t define you. You enjoyed the good times and you gotta be able to take the bad times. When you step into the arena, the consequences can be historic losses, tough losses, great wins, and you have to deal with it. That’s the job.

Sports are often a good metaphor for life, and I couldn’t help but relate Coach Bennett’s wise words to BBA’s own unexpected struggles these past couple months.

Official Fan Favorites from 2017

Despite our best efforts, just about everything that could possibly go wrong to sabotage our hot plans has happened these past couple weeks. It’s been disappointing and frustrating to say the least. But we’re not giving up, and new updates will hopefully still be resuming later this month (don’t have an exact date for you yet). As previously announced, all active memberships have been credited with a free month.

I’ve been so stressed out about getting the new Spring season underway that I almost forgot to announce these official results for your favorite models and scenes from last year.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote! As we continue working hard behind the scenes to bring you fresh faces and film exciting new scenes, it’s interesting and helpful (and sometimes surprising) seeing which models and scenes you enjoyed the most from last year.

The polls have closed, the results are now in, and below are your official fan favorites from 2017:

Favorite Solo Scene: Trapp – Testing The Waters
(Runner-Up: Private Sessions – Staxx)

Favorite Gay/Bi Scene: New Best Friend
(Runner-Up: New York Nights – Stylez Surrenders)

Favorite Gay for Pay Scene: Naughty Or Nice?
(Runner-Up: Detroit After Dark – Episode One)

Due to continuing production delays and setbacks behind the scenes, we still don’t have any new scenes for you yet and honestly not sure when the regular schedule will be ready to resume.

While we continue striving to get production successfully back into full swing as quickly as possible, I’ve asked CCBill to credit all current/active BBA members with a *FREE MONTH* to make up for this understandably disappointing delay between updates. The regular update schedule will hopefully pick back up within the next couple weeks.

Please be aware that it can sometimes take CCBill a couple weeks to fully process all extensions, so if your membership expires and/or you have any questions about this extension, please feel free to contact Montez directly at montez@blackboyaddictionz.com.

Thanks again for your patience and continued words of encouragement during this regrettably slow start to the year, and please rest assured we’re doing everything we possibly can to bring you fresh faces and hot surprises for BBA’s upcoming Spring Season.

Hopefully the next time you hear from me, it will be with some GOOD news for a change 😉 !

When It Rains….

I want to start by thanking everyone for the outpouring of encouragement and support through social media, emails, comments, etc., during this recent difficult time. I’ve always bragged that BBA has some of the best fans in the business, and you guys really proved that to me once again these past couple weeks.

I tried to show my appreciation with last week’s hot and lengthy new threesome taking Trapp to a shocking new level, and I’m glad that so many of you seem to be loving that one so far.

Unfortunately, I came down with a bad cold when I got back in town, and that along with some other frustrating complications and delays behind the scenes has only further disrupted my normal production routine.

After lots of cough drops, hot tea, and rest, I’m finally feeling ALMOST back to my normal self and working hard to catch up and bring you some hot new content as quickly as possible. But unfortunately it’s not going to be in time for this weekend, and realistically not until some time later next week.

If you’re a regular monthly subscriber and still haven’t received your three promised updates for February by the first full week in March, please contact Montez at montez@blackboyaddictionz.com and he’ll be able to add extra time to your membership or provide you with complimentary credits to make up for the delay.

Thanks for your continued patience and understanding during this regrettably slow start to the new year. Wish us luck with the filming, and hopefully we’ll have some fresh faces and fun surprises for you soon!

February Funk

I know things have been pretty quiet around here lately, and I apologize for not communicating with everyone sooner.

My grandmother died during surgery last week and I just got back in town after being with family for most of the past week. I lost my grandfather and uncle last year, but this one has been even tougher for me to grieve and process because unlike my other grandparents when they died, or even my uncle who had suffered from Parkinson’s, my grandma was still mentally alert and physically active and so full of life. I had just been talking with her on the phone about the TV show “This Is Us” less than 24 hours before she died. And even though we knew the surgery involved some risk, none of us expected such a tragic outcome.

On the bright side, she was almost 88 years old and had lived a very full and happy life, so there’s at least some comfort in knowing that she died peacefully and without any of the suffering that would have come with a massive stroke or heart attack, etc. Of course the loss felt is no less intense.

Needless to say, this has disrupted and delayed my usual work and production schedule, but hopefully not too terribly much. I’m finally back in town and working hard to catch up and hopefully have our next new scene ready by some time later next week.

Thanks for your patience and understanding during this difficult time, and rest assured there are some big and exciting developments taking place behind the scenes as we do our best to bring you an epic Winter/Spring Season you will never forget!

Important Announcement: Montez Joins BBA As Full-Time Manager & Marketing Director

As the new year gets underway, I just wanted to take a moment to share some exciting news and major changes taking place behind the scenes.

By now, most of you have at least heard of Montez, and even “met” him through his entertaining cameos in the Detroit After Dark series and Halloween Party. A long-time BBA fan going all the way back to the early Blue Futon days of Jay and Cortez, Montez first began corresponding with me by email back in the summer of 2014 about a shared social media crush. This led to more serious conversations about BBA’s lack of social media (other than this blog), and Montez generously volunteering to help us change that.

Taking on the role of BBA’s Marketing Director, Montez launched the BBA Tumblr and built it from scratch into a popular and entertaining resource for BBA-related news, previews, gifs, contests, and feedback for a large and ever-growing number of followers.

More recently, he started BBA’s Instagram and Twitter accounts, and organized our first public appearance at Detroit’s Hotter Than July Pride last summer. He has also played a pivotal role in bringing fan favorites like Blake Bishop, Shazeer, Rico Pruitt, and Manny Killa to the site.

With his skills and years of experience in both marketing and business management, Montez has not only proven himself to be an invaluable asset to the BBA team, but he has also become a close and trusted personal friend.

In an industry with a reputation for shady dealings and shameless back-stabbing, the kind of mutual loyalty, professionalism, and TRUST I’ve found with Montez is a truly rare and treasured thing. And when Montez recently came to a crossroads in his own career, it presented the perfect opportunity for me to finally offer him a position as BBA’s very first full-time salaried staff. (more…)

Cast Your Votes For The Best of BBA 2017!

You’ve seen my own personal picks for the best scenes from last year. And you can check out Montez’s own personal Top 10 list here and here.

But now it’s YOUR TURN to let us know what you think by choosing YOUR favorite models and scenes from 2017! You’ll be able to see the voting results in live time to compare your own personal favorites with the rest of BBA’s members and fans.

To keep things as fair and accurate as possible, you’re only allowed to vote once, so please take your time and choose your answers carefully. In several of the categories, I’ve allowed up to two or three selections since there are so many models and scenes to choose from.

Please feel free to explain or defend any of your choices, or even share your own personal “Top Ten” lists as comments on this blog entry. We’d love to hear what you think! If you have any ideas or requests for additional poll questions that you think might be fun, just let me know and I’ll consider adding them.

I hope everyone has fun picking out their favorites and reminiscing with Montez and me about another exciting and unforgettable year!

Michael Galletta Counts Down BBA’s Ten Best Scenes of 2017

There’s no denying that 2017 was one wild roller-coaster ride of a year, both personally and professionally. But even with its many ups and downs, and an update schedule that was admittedly all over the map at times as a result, I’m relieved and proud to be able to say that 2017 still turned out to be a pretty damn AMAZING year overall, leaving us with some truly unforgettable BBA classics that we’ll be watching and talking about for years to come.

Which brings me to my list of BBA’s Ten Best Scenes of 2017, the scenes which for a variety of reasons explained below are the ones that stood out from a VERY crowded pack as my proudest achievements and personal favorites from the past year:

(In Ascending Order)

#10. New York Nights: Monster Smash

It may surprise some of you to see our Halloween Party show up on this list. But I honestly had no choice BUT to include this scene when I realized just how many times I’ve “enjoyed” it in my free time 😉 .

There’s just something about seeing sexy straight basketball player Isaiah turned into the scene’s “bitch” as he’s aggressively TAG-TEAMED and stuffed with raw dick at both ends, that gets me EVERY single time. BBA “comfort food” at its best, this scene has quickly turned into the kind of trusted treat that I know I can always turn to for an instant and satisfying release at the end of a long day.

#9. Manny’s Money Moves

In a year overshadowed by outstanding performances from veteran models, this sweet and sensual encounter between two of our newest models came out of nowhere to become a year-end smash hit. And it’s crazy to think how close it came to never happening at all!

Proving once again that sometimes unplanned scenes are the best, what came depressingly close to being a total disaster turned out to be one of our most surprisingly passionate scenes of the year. The intense attraction and undeniable chemistry between Manny Killa and Luh Redd will no doubt be envied and enjoyed by all the BBA romantics out there for many years to come.

#8. Training Trapp

Destined to become a BBA classic, this was quite possibly the most steamy action between “straight” guys that I’ve EVER filmed! Saint once again shined in the role of “gay for pay” mentor, unleashing a repressed freaky side of Trapp we’d only seen glimpses of in his first scene.

Their dark, tangled bodies glistening with baby oil and sweat as they roll around naked on the floor for our private entertainment, putting on a show so intensely homoerotic it could have made the Ancient Greeks blush, proved once again that you don’t always need hardcore action for a scene to earn multiple “nutts”!

#7. Detroit After Dark: Episode One

The Detroit trilogy was definitely the highlight of BBA’s summer, and one of my proudest achievements all year. But if I had to choose just one of the three scenes that best captured the humor, spontaneity, and sexual energy that defined the weekend of our very first public appearance at Hotter Than July Detroit Pride, this scene would be it.

From the new “reality TV” style editing that shared an intimate and entertaining peek at some of the personalities, laughter, and fun taking place behind the scenes, to the thrilling sight of popular actor turned “porn star” Rico Pruitt submitting to a merciless pounding from Bandit‘s raw dick, this scene had everything you could ever want from a summer porn blockbuster 😉 .

#6. Scotty: The Next Level

This just might go down as one of the most shocking and satisfying “conquests” in BBA history – and that’s including scenes where the straight guy has actually “gone all the way”! What Scotty ends up doing by the end of this shoot was almost UNTHINKABLE when he showed up for his first shoot, and even heading into THIS shoot, I had no idea it would happen.

A return to BBA’s roots with the kind of spontaneous, sparely edited scene I used to film back in the good ol’ days of the BBA Futon, this unforgettable “gay for pay” classic takes viewers behind the scenes to experience every suspenseful and SHOCKING second of an epic “straight boy seduction” right along with me, in close to real time as everything unfolded that night.

#5. Show and Tell

I don’t think I’ve ever been more wrong about a scene than I was about this one right after we filmed it. The shoot itself was extremely long, stressful, and pushed my patience to its near breaking point. I even had serious doubts about whether BBA’s viewers would like Trapp. Boy, was I wrong!

Not only did Trapp turn out to be the breakout “gay for pay” star of last year, but over time I’ve gradually grown to appreciate this scene for what it truly is: one of the most hilarious, unpredictable, and thoroughly ENTERTAINING scenes of the year!

From the comical bickering and flirtatious banter between these two real-life straight friends from the ‘hood, to the shocking ways they expand and test the limits of that friendship before the night’s over, this was one of those special scenes that had us stroking our dicks and laughing out loud at the same time!

Net Neutrality & A Future Without Porn

Imagine a future where you can no longer enjoy BBA or your other favorite porn sites because they’ve been blocked or slowed down by the Internet providers in your area. Or worse, because they’ve gone out of business completely due to restrictive new fees and/or a dramatic decrease in the number of people able to access and support their content.

That future is a lot closer than you might think, and likely to become a reality if we don’t do something together to stop it.

This Thursday, December 14th, the FCC (Federal Communication Commission) is scheduled to vote on Net Neutrality, the idea that Internet providers should NOT be able to control what we see or do online. More specifically, that Internet speeds should be kept the same for ALL sites, regardless of their size or type. There are currently rules in place that prohibit ISPs from things like blocking, throttling, and paid prioritization – in other words, “fast lanes” for sites that pay extra fees, and “slow lanes” for everyone else.

These basic rules and principles (which we’ve all pretty much taken for granted) are currently UNDER ATTACK by the Trump administration, and the FCC is reevaluating and threatening to repeal them. If we lose Net Neutrality, the Internet as we know it will NEVER be the same again. Companies like Verizon and Time Warner would soon have the power to slow down specific sites, and/or pressure individual sites into paying extra to escape the “slow lane.”

This could DIRECTLY threaten membership websites like Black Boy Addictionz, as well as popular free websites like Tumblr, by allowing your cable company to slow down the speeds of these sites, or even block them completely due to their “NSFW” content.

If you’re a dedicated BBA fan, or just someone who shares our profound concern for keeping the Internet open and equal for everyone, please join us NOW in the fight to SAVE NET NEUTRALITY by taking one or more of the following actions:

1) Text “RESIST” to 50409. This is a quick and EASY tool that lets you send a message to your representatives in Congress through your phone. It only takes a couple minutes of your time, and if you’re unsure what exactly to say, here’s a sample message you can use:

I’m a concerned constituent from [YOUR CITY] asking you to please PROTECT NET NEUTRALITY and an open Internet. Preserving an open and equal Internet is essential to free speech and democracy and I am alarmed and dismayed that the FCC is planning to abandon this principle.

I don’t want ISPs to have the power to block websites, slow them down, give some sites an advantage over others, or break the Internet up into ‘fast lanes’ for those that pay and ‘slow lanes’ for everyone else. Please publicly support the FCC’s existing net neutrality rules based on Title II, and oppose Chairman Pai’s plans to undo them.

Website Update: The Cheerleader and the Track Star

We recently teamed up with Shax Carter, an experienced photographer and long-time BBA fan who will be filming and editing some of our scenes to help us bring you more fresh faces and variety as part of our update schedule. It will be the same brand of unscripted amateur porn that you’ve come to crave and expect, just with the unique visual and editing style of a different director from time to time.

Fans of early BBA classics like The Schoolboy and the Thug will appreciate this week’s introduction to two contrasting new models meeting for the very first time and trying to prove they have what it takes to join BBA’s next generation of stars.

Teddy is a cute 19-year-old “college boy” who quit his high school football team to become a cheerleader and now cheers for his college. An outgoing “pretty boy” with a cocky streak, Teddy’s the kind of guy who KNOWS he looks good and thankfully doesn’t mind sharing his damn near flawless young body with the rest of the world.

Mar is a slim and sexy 20-year-old college track star with a big uncut dick and even bigger athletic ambitions. The complete opposite of Teddy in many ways, Mar is more chill and laid back, with thick, tempting lips and a seductive voice that will have you eager to see (and hear) him in action.

We leave the camera running as Teddy and Mar get better acquainted just minutes after meeting for the very first time. Watching their awkward small talk as they nervously joke and flirt and check each other out only makes it ten times hotter when these two complete strangers finally get MUCH better acquainted later on….
